A youngun recently posted this and it warmed my heart ... "Cake is so underrated." You're right, my young friend -- Cake just doesn't seem to get the respect it deserves.
From the actual lyrics and deadpan delivery to the overall phenomena of creating an all-genre yet genreless sound, Cake is so unique. Cake should be celebrated.
One of the most magnetic things about Cake is how it's so very not dance music in any way but you have to dance to it. What? Is that just me?
BTW, supposedly, we're getting a new Cake album soon ...
