It Must Have Been Love, Roxette, 1992


Hmmm. No clue why this song is on repeat in my head this morning. I totally forgot that it's a Roxette song. Super surprised to find it came out in 1992 -- I would've guessed it was firmly planted in the 80s.


Ahh, a little more digging tells me this song was first released in 87 -- that sounds more like it -- but it was a Christmas song. Now, I remember. Then they rewrote it for "Pretty Woman" without the Christmas references. That's kinda cool but still, that was 1990, not 1992. I still don't understand Google insisting this song came out in 92.


Usually, if I'm hearing a Roxette song, it's "The Look." Right? Great song. I hear it a lot while getting dressed. Very much like a Mary Katherine Gallagher super model scene.


Oh well. Up and at 'em. Ugh Monday. I'm so tired.


PS: I still hope to fall in love again someday.
