Today's Song of the Day

She's Actin' Single (I'm Drinkin' Doubles), Wednesday, 2022

When you're a music lover like I am, every Friday is a holiday. New music drops on Fridays but it used to drop on Tuesdays. This past Friday was actually a Wednesday holiday. Lol. Yeah, my feeble attempt at a who's on first reference. 😁 Seriously, the new Wednesday album is so very worth celebrating. It's really good, y'all.

I'm simmering myself awake and laughing at how this Wednesday cover of a 1970s song is serenading me this morning instead of one of their fabulous new tracks. Really, universe? OK, I'll bite. Are you implying that I'm acting single or that I'm drinking doubles? Or, both? Or, neither? Hmm.

Well, look at that -- it's Monday again and my body hates me and my brain thinks it's funny. Wednesday is actually the perfect band to hold my hand this Monday. I am fodder for a great alt country rock shoegaze narrative anthem.
