Killing in the Name, Rage Against the Machine, 1992
Sadly, I wasn't surprised to wake to this protest anthem controlling my headspace. Don't get me wrong, I love this song and RATM is a mainstay on my forever playlist but it's a super heavy vibe for a Monday.
Is Killing in the Name typically a go-to Monday jam for me to kick off the workweek? No, it is not.Truthfully, though, these are heavy, super atypical times, friends. So, bring the Rage!
Is there a more perfect soundtrack for today's increasingly problematic and uncertain world than RATM? I think not.
