I am so thankful to have the Muffs with me this morning as I wake from a horrible nightmare. Thank you, universe. Ugh. It's so weird, though, I keep forgetting Kim Shattuck is gone. Talk about goddess ... Kim may not have been a household name but she was a pioneer breaking all the glass in the pop punk world. Absolute legend.

I know it's Gemini season but Kim is one of my most favorite Cancers of all time. Historically, me and Cancers don't serve each other well in this thing called life but it never keeps me from trying with them. It's always good until it's not. I bet Kim and I could've vibed. I see you, Ronnie Barnett. BTW, how great is this song? How about those (kickass) Muffs, y'all?

Have mercy, yesterday was a bad day. Don't pick on me. Do I know how to close out a month or what? Hell, I'm doing a stellar job at closing out this 53rd year, too. Yeah. When am I gonna learn? Who's up for a "Terrifying Bitch" themed birthday party. Sounds like fun, right?
