Here you have it -- this is the song reverberating in my brain right now. So very apropos. Sad and damned. This is it, y'all -- the perfect song to close out my 2024. I love this song. I haven't thought about the Nymphs in forever. Count me in for getting reacquainted.

I'm not sure how it's even possible but 2024 has been both the absolute best and absolute worst year of my life. The Nymphs get it. I'm waiting for the sun, friends.

In the best year ever column: I bought a house. Yep. I did it with my embarrassingly modest income and without a co-signer, too. It's perfect and I love it. I keep pinching myself to make sure I'm not dreaming. I've never felt more content. Bliss.

In the worst year ever column: Pretty much the entirety of living and working has been and remains physically problematic and excruciating. Rare disease be gone already. Sad and damned, you see.

Here's to 2025 being a year full of bests sans mean girl bullshit. Fair warning to those who partake, I have zero tolerance. That's how the sad and damned roll, yall.
