Listen, I can try to relate to you but I only know what it's like to be me. It's all about me. One indisputable truth about me is: I'm a morning person. I don't necessarily rise and shine as Suzy Sunshine but I do hit the ground running. Nine times out of ten, within a few seconds of being awake, I hear the song playing in my head, too. Well, hello there Brett -- what a nice surprise.

Anyone who has experienced the joy of waking up next to me can attest -- when I'm done sleeping and my eyes pop open, I am wide awake and fully cognizant. Sure, sometimes I linger in my comfy bed and simmer under the covers (like I'm doing right now) but I never experience much of a sleepyhead phase. I only have a split second of maybe some slight grogginess, then my mind switches on and all systems are go.

I'm not a huge fan of this song but I am secretly living the Blame Brett narrative right now but who's paying attention? I'm sorry in advance. Listen to The Beaches, y'all. Fun stuff.
