Oh my goodness. I love love love every single syllable of this song. I love love love every single lick. It is so powerful and just crazy cool. Yeah. Nine-year-old me living for this song (and video) could have contributed to me being terrifying. Maybe?

Holy goodness, y'all, Pat's Crimes of Passion album is still one of the best listens ever. I can't do life without it. It's just great song after great song and is everything that was so right about the early 80s. The thing is, this song and that album and Pat herself -- they were beacons then and they're beacons now. Follow the light.

Having my go-to "step into the ring" song in my head this a.m. is a little off-putting, though. Help me out here, universe, do you know something I don't know? I hadn't planned to go to battle today but my subconcious has me wondering what the day holds.
