I am so thankful to have Amyl and the Sniffers fueling my existence right now. This Aussie band is a must listen, y'all. The energy gives life. Their latest album, Cartoon Darkness, dropped a few weeks back and I've been in an Amyl deep dive/tail spin ever since. Y'all know I have an unapologetic affinity for female-fronted bands and Amy Taylor has my undivided attention and absolute adoration. I'm so very smitten. Ob-f*ucking-sessed.

Listen, if I had my late 20s to do over again, I'd totally be a copycat Amyl. I would live in a bikini top and hot pants. I'll just say it: An Emmy do over timeline would absolutely have me fronting a band, (mostly sans clothes), kicking ass and taking names. I can see it -- an Amylified Emmy 2.0. Let me get busy writing that best-selling (fan?) fiction. Speaking of bikinis, be sure to look up this song: "Tiny Bikini" -- do it now. IYKYK.

In other Emmy news, I am super proud to announce that the world does in fact revolve around me. Yep. I am even more proud to proclaim that contrary to what was drilled into my head my entire life, it's OK for me to be the center of my own universe. Actually, being self-centered in the literal sense of the term promotes well-rounded self-awareness that benefits all of humanity. Do it. Live it. Love it. If not now, when?
