The last thing I want to do today is the one thing I have to do today. Are you feeling me this Monday morning?

I'm kinda loving that Gracie's in my head encouraging me to warn her that he's an idiot. Girl, stop -- yes, now I'm sure but I am also entering my keeping my mouth shut era. Besides, I trust she'll find out he's an idiot in her own time.

I wonder how many of my contemporaries recognize this song. The first time I heard this song, I dismissed it as a formula creation lacking sincerity and heart. It stuck with me, though. It's hard to not like this song, right? It's hard to not like Gracie, right?

Wait. Who "knows" this song and/or has heard of Gracie but never took the time to learn more? First impressions can be wrong, ya know. Or, can they?

To be clear, my keeping my mouth shut era begins now.
